To Kill a Mockingbird play
In this project we were tasked to reenact the book we were tasked with creating a play basked on To Kill a Mockingbird. This project favored the oral communication learning outcome. Oral communication is the way we talk to convey our message. In this play what we did first off was read the book To Kill a Mockingbird, then we created scenes based off the chapters in separate groups. The step after that was to get a role and then act out a play. We had to talk loudly to make sure that people could hear us, this is an important part of any play. We had to put life into our lines and make them sound genuine. This was not an easy task, and many of us did not remember our lines. We had to convey emotion with our voices and make sure our point got across. This is why oral communication was important in this project
Worlds Fair Building
In this project we were tasked with creating the United States Pavilion for the 2012 worlds fair in Yeosu Korea. We had to make the building have an ocean theme, and the building had to have arcs. During this project i learned about arcs and how to tell their angles, and measures. There are different ways a circle can be cut up by lines, called chords. Our design was a seashell propped up by other seashells. We learned the properties of circles and arcs in this project and that is why i enjoyed it This project required communication to work. Almost all projects in Geocadd require communication, but this one required more. We had to make a building in separate parts for the worlds fare. The project required for all people in a group to be synchronized and that required communication.
