Open house videos
In Computer Graphics we had a bear of a project, to make a video for a show based on the concept of water. I lacked an idea that I felt was worthy of a month of work, so I made many smaller videos, about five of them. I went from not knowing anything about After effects, the program we used, to churning out videos at least once a week. I feel like the proof is in the pudding, I started from not knowing to knowing how to use a video creation and editing program. At the open house the visits were spare, among other things, but I felt I grew by learning new things about the properties of animation and applying them to my work.

Spring Art Show
Again we had to make a project for an art show. I made a lip synched monologue coupled with a opening sequence. I learned how to do keyframe interpolation from this project, a skill that might come in handy for the future. It took longer that I would have liked to synch the voice. The mouths were single frames in a video, and it would need to be shifted frame by frame, a painstaking process for a video that is almost two minutes. I gained a greater respect for animation as a whole and how long and arduous making anything animated truly is. Another part of the show was our animated logo, we had done it long ago but it was finally shown to the public in this show. The way it was animated was by modifying anchor points and rotation to create movement.
